Summer’s almost here! Baseball! You can hear the stirrings of the warmer months in NE-HI’s sophomore cut, Offers, which neatly blends beach vibes with after-school American garage rock. The band is fresh off the touring circuit with the likes of Twin Peaks and Carseat Headrest, and we imagine that must have been a mighty fine fit for everyone involved. NE-HI’s conveys the rich tapestry of sensations that comes with summer: laid-back breezy hammock time, raucous explosions of energy, introspective and moody romances, etc. We gather that their live show takes the whole thing up a notch or two, lending itself well to dance floor frenzies.
