Orchid Mania

Get away from all the snow and ice and smell the flowers. The last day for Orchid Mania at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens is today. Featuring some of the most exotic orchids in the world (like a chocolate orchid that actually smells like chocolate), an interior design showcase featuring room designs based on orchid palettes, advice from the Orchid Doctor on caring for your own at home, as well as activities for the whole family. If you’re a photographer, there will be a special off-hours session where you can get up close and personal with these beautiful flowers. Admission is $11, $3 for kids ages 3 to 12. The garden is open from noon to 5 p.m. today. (Trenholme)
