The 2016 Akron Craft Beer Festival

Just as Cleveland Beer Week kicks off, Akron hosts its annual Craft Beer Festival at the Akron Civic Theatre. Forty-one local, national and international craft breweries will be on hand tonight to sample sour beers, meads and ciders. The Civic has created its own one-of-a-kind beer, The Mighty Wurlitzer, in collaboration with Heavy Seas brewery. That keg will be tapped at 8:30 p.m. on the Civic stage. Other highlights of the evening include a cask of Fat Head’s Double Dryed Hopped Head Hunter and a mystery infusion with Dogfish. The event starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $40. (Niesel)
