Trevor Noah was a successful comic even before he became a contributor and then took over as host on The Daily Show. Last year, Noah debuted his ninth new comedy special, Afraid of the Dark on Netflix. David Paul Meyer's award-winning documentary film, You Laugh But It's True, tells the story of how Noah got his start doing standup in post-apartheid South Africa.
