After 11 years serving the Detroit Shoreway community (and beyond), Latitude 41n (5712 Detroit Ave., 216-961-0000) will be closing its doors this Sunday, April 8. Throughout that time, owner Kathy Brown operated an approachable, affordable diner that truly served its community.

According to neighborhoods reps, the lease had expired and Brown will be transitioning into a different career path. (Messages to Brown went un-returned.)

  2. We will miss Kathy so much! She has been so kind t me & all my family! Well also miss the wonderful breakfasts at Latitude; the delicious lunches & dinners! Sad, sad, sad! Such a rock for the neighborhood! Best wishes & thanks to Kathy & crew for years of great food! You will all be missed!
