Arcade on Detroit in Lakewood Has Closed

“The business did not take off the way I had hoped,” says Dan Deagan.

Dan Deagan has shuttered the Arcade on Detroit (14810 Detroit Ave.) in Lakewood. He opened the bar/game room last April in the space that had been home home to Deagan’s Kitchen and Bar for 13 years. It was a low-effort concept that focused on arcade games, pinball machines, drinks and snacks that didn’t pan out, Deagan admits.

“The business did not take off the way I had hoped,” says Deagan. “I’m just going to concentrate on our other businesses and simplify my life.”

Those other businesses include Lakewood Truck Park, Wine Dive, Wolf & Co. and Pin High, the new golf-sim bar in Bay Village.
