[image-1]It was with a heavy heart that we reported the news of the fire that destroyed Steve’s Lunch last year. We miss the place, like many of you surely do.

Thankfully, right down the road, Banter will honor the long-time city treasure with a “Steve’s Lunch Pop-Up” tomorrow night — dishing up “chili dogs, mozzarella sticks, the Dooley, and other favorites,” according to the folks at Banter.

Sounds like an excellent way to rid our systems of this RNC business. The event runs from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday night.

“The one thing Steve’s was always missing was booze,” the Banter team wrote. “We decide to fix that.”

  1. Will this be authentic Steve’s food? There is always Biddoulph plaza Steve’s for authenticity. We need it back here in Ohio City though.
