If you missed the last 50 Bedford Strawberry Festivals, you’re in luck: The 51st annual event returns to the town’s public square next weekend, June 12-14, promising its usual dose of berry-themed gluttony.

Thanks to the Bedford Historical Society, attendees will find shortcakes, sundaes, jams, and just about everything else a strawberry can be smushed into, as well as fair food staples, like fried cheese on a stick. A variety of local and commercial craft vendors will also be on hand throughout the weekend selling all sorts of artisan goods.

Musical offerings abound as well, including Cats on Holiday, Underworld Blues Band, Blues on Fire, and others. Did we mention the 10th annual Classic Car Show will also be going on?

It all happens next weekend at 30 S. Park St. in Bedford. Festival hours are 6 – 11 p.m. on Friday, noon to 11 p.m., on Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free, so go check it out!
