Crop Rocks and Crop Sticks to Close in September

Following on the heels of the recent shuttering of Crop Kitchen at Uptown in University Circle, Scene just learned that Crop Rocks and Crop Sticks in Flats East Bank will close on September 11. This is according to an employee that works there and wishes to remain anonymous. Staffers were informed of the decision earlier today.

Chef Steve Schimoler is on a six-month sabbatical in Italy.

We'll update this story as details unfold, including plans for the soon-to-be vacant spaces.

According to Denny Young, President of The Elevation Group, the event company that books shows, On Air Studio will continue to present shows in the adjacent space.
