This Sunday at 8 p.m., Underdog Bar at Happy Dog will host a viewing party for Guy’s Grocery Games, starring Anna Harouvis. The raw-foods chef will partner with chef Eric Williams to recreate foods prepared in the show.
“I had an opportunity to do a Food Network show, and I never pass up an opportunity like this,” explains Harouvis. “It’s almost a rite of passage for Cleveland chefs to be featured on that network.”
Harouvis, who flew out to Santa Rosa, California, for the taping, describes the show as “kind of like Chopped, but in a grocery store.”
The winner-take-all competition leaves one lucky contestant with the chance to take home $20,000.
“It was fun and exciting, but also intimidating,” she says.
Closer to home, Harouvis says that she’s getting closer to securing a space for her health-focused market concept. The market will be a “grab-and-go” shop that offers a wide range of healthy juices and prepared foods, she says.
