Fox & Hound (1479 S.O.M. Center Rd.), a staple of the Mayfield Heights nightlife scene for almost 25 years, has closed.

Located in the Eastgate Shopping Center, the “English Pub & Grille” offered approachable bar food and gracious service to a loyal cast of regulars. Fox & Hound was where one went to throw darts, shoot pool and watch sports. Its absence will leave a conspicuous hole in the Mayfield bar scene.

The owner could not be reached for comment.
