Great Lakes Brewing Company is throwing a pre-release party on Feb. 17 for its newly named Chillwave Double IPA (formerly Alchemy Hour IPA) to give Clevelanders a chance to get hoppy four days early.

For 40 bucks, you, too, can get in on that liquid gold action (your friends will have to wait until the 21st), as well as enjoy tasty island-inspired fare, created by GLBC chefs.

The beer will flow from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. For more info, head on over to GLBC.

  1. …..a better way to spend forty bucks than traipsing down to The Q and plopping down a pair of twenty dollar bills for a seat in Section 205, while getting five bucks in change and possibly a bobblehead made outside the USA.

  2. or driving to see a Browns game, and paying $25 for parking and $15 on gas to even get there. that doesn’t even include the price of the antidepressants you’ll need to take after prolonged exposure to watching the Browns play.
