“Take a vacation day on October 24—a Christmas vacation day, that is!”

Great Lakes Brewing Company has announced the first Christmas Ale pour of the season will take place on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 11:30 a.m.

Clevelanders jonesin’ for a swig of the sweet stuff can stop by the Ohio City brewpub on the 24th, but will have to wait until Oct. 31 to purchase 6-Packs and cases of Christmas Ale.

As in years past, Great Lakes is also hosting a First Pour Contest, where one lucky winner will be given the season’s very first pint of Christmas Ale on pouring day.

So dig up those Christmas sweaters, pull out all the bells and whistles, and head on over to the ole GLBC.

Will we be there? Ummm…
