Joining other distillers around the country, Lakewood’s Western Reserve Distillers is now making hand sanitizer as the coronavirus pandemic continues to worsen.
“Due to the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, we are able to produce and sell USDA organic food grade ethyl alcohol at 190 proof for the production of hand sanitizer,” a message posted to their site and social media accounts reads. “Our hand sanitizer will be available by preorder only. Please visit Eventbrite to purchase. We are only selling by the gallon and the first release will be available April 3rd. Bare with us, we can’t make it overnight and some of the ingredients we need are in high demand. We’re doing our best to help out where we can. Please call us at 216-333-9291 for more information.”
