The 256-page hardcover book, published by Clarkson Potter ($27), helps home cooks manage inflammation and pain by offering up recipes that avoid common food triggers such as red meat, white flour, sugar, dairy and alcohol. The book is broken up into chapters filled with delicious recipes that avoid those triggers.
“Symon suffers from both rheumatoid arthritis and external lupus,” Trattner explains. “While on the Chew, he devised a similar plan to determine what his personal triggers were – which foods he could safely eat and which ones he should avoid – and then set about devising recipes that eased both inflammation and pain.”
The book begins with a 10-day “reset,” a collection of 30 recipes that avoid all of those triggers, giving inflammation sufferers the opportunity to start “clean” before embarking on their own personalized plan. There is a heavy emphasis on known anti-inflammatory foods like blueberries, walnuts, avocado, mushrooms, broccoli, ginger, cayenne, turmeric and salmon.
This gorgeous book, shot by award-winning photographer Ed Anderson and styled by famed Susan Spungen, features more than 125 recipes.

Why don’t you ask either of those turds to comment on what happened with Sherla’s and why Symon repeatedly lied about opening the restaurant (including as recent as this past May)? Scene love’s calling people out on their BS but has turned a blind eye to this sham.
He’s probably about to be the next one to get accused of something. Chefs are pricks and creeps.
