Last spring, Hang Zheng opened One Pot (1825 Coventry Rd., 216-673-3888) restaurant on Coventry Road in Cleveland Heights. Just a few months later, he opened a second location of his popular all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ concept, this time in northwest Columbus. Next up for Zheng and One Pot is Great Northern Mall, where he will be opening his largest spot to date later this year.

As visitors to the Coventry location can attest, One Pot elevates the Korean barbecue experience thanks to a combination of sleek décor, impressive tabletop technology, and an all-you-can-eat arrangement. Each table is equipped with separate built-in burners for barbecue grills and hot pots. In-table exhaust systems wick away smoke, odor and heat.

Tables can elect to order BBQ, hot pot, or both. While tables share one large, central grill for BBQ, each diner gets his or her own hot pot to manage. Diners going the BBQ route can choose between dozens of meat, seafood and vegetable options. Hot pot fans have eight different broths to choose from, plus a similar selection of meat, seafood and vegetable options – but also many different rice and noodle choices.

Look for One Pot to open at Great Northern Mall sometime this spring.
