Owner Sali McSherry this week shared the sad news that charming Chagrin Falls bistro The Paris Room will close come the end of January.

“It’s with many emotions that I have decided to retire/pursue other opportunities,” McSherry said on Instagram. “I look forward to spending time with my husband, who is retired,  and our family. I thank my talented colleagues for being an
integral part of this shared dream.”

“In the chaos of life to have realized a dream is a very lucky thing,” they continued. “Our aim has always been to give our guests a little respite from their worries, with wholesome food cooked to order in our tiny kitchen, and served with love, and a cocktail menu that has been carefully created.”

The tiny French restaurant known for its authentic bistro vibes, cocktails and live jazz music partners with local proprietors to carry fresh ingredients for their authentic French specialties in this low-key setting with exposed brick and colorful decor.

There’s still plenty of time to get a last bite and laugh, or two. Join them for what they’re calling a “last waltz” before the doors close forever next year.
