That’s right, not too far from the Jimmy Buffett-themed Margaritaville in the Flats, the country trio (two of whom hail from from Columbus) officially plan to open their brand new Rascal Flatts Bar and Grill right between Thirsty Dog Brewing and Beerhead.
Expect the near-waterfront location to sport a host of band memorabilia along with country-themed decor and a slew of live music. Food and drinks will be a mix of the guys’ favorites.
Owners are shooting for a July 1 opening. Of course, the business has been in the works for a couple years so it wouldn’t be surprising if that date was pushed back.
Scott Wolstein, developer and partner of The Wolstein Group, told Scene back in 2016 that the restaurant would be a perfect addition to the Flats East Bank. Now it’s all finally coming to fruition.
“From the beginning, we set out to build an urban waterfront destination, and we’re excited to be able to offer this type of concept in conjunction with our existing restaurants and entertainment venues,” he said. “It’s also a testament to Cleveland’s resurgence for us to be able to attract these types of businesses.”
