Earlier this month we wrote about how the relocation of Phoenix Coffee Shop’s Coventry branch from the south end of the street to the north end marked the end of a coffee-based era.
While some of you naysayers may still be bemoaning the move, we had the opportunity to visit Phoenix’s new digs this week and take a peek at the brighter, more modern-looking era they’re now stepping into.
We recommend that you go check out the new space for yourself, but until then here are some photos to give you a feel for the place.
From the entrance, the interior looks modern, open, and bright.
Klinect describes it as more “professional.”
*Bonus, there are outlets-a-plenty
You place your order at the counter.
Just don’t you dare mix up their spoons.
If you ask nicely, the baristas may let you take a peek behind the counter
And at their dish station (why not?)
The bathrooms look a lot nicer than at the old place.
There’s also cool decor, like this sign created by RustBelt
And these recycled lights.
The wood paneling on the back wall is all recycled, too.
Hey, see that guy on the ladder?
He’s creating space for local artists to showcase their work.
Pretty cool.
Overall, we were really quite impressed. Congrats to Phoenix on their new home.

Well, the new place looks pretty snazzy.
I love coming here, the atmosphere, the location and the way the baristas go out of their way to welcome you and service you!
