The Hot Dog Diner & Burger Co. in Parma Reopens

When the owners of The Hot Dog Diner closed the Parma staple in February, they did so with a promise to reopen later down the road somewhere else down the road.

But last month, it reopened right where it had previously operated, at 5494 Pearl Rd. in a former Taco Bell.

Founders Dave and Natalie Teare, who opened the restaurant in 2005, announced their retirement in 2023 and passed the business along to a relative.

All systems are now go for the operation, which has a drive-thru as well as a dining room, Tuesdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., which is good news for all involved.

“It’s been wonderful to hear about so many blissful memories and experiences,” the owners shared earlier this year as news of the closure spread. Months later, new memories are being made.
