“As a supporter of local food and our farmer community, we wanted to do a pop-up to promote our great summer products,” says chef Doug Katz, who also owns Fire Food and Drink and serves as chef-partner of Provenance and Provenance Café at The Cleveland Museum of Art. “We have a great classic diner space that works perfectly for these fun events.”
On tap for the August 25th event is a casual summer barbecue, with a salad of farmers’ market greens with local corn, tomatoes and buttermilk ranch, pulled barbecue short rib on housemade buns with vegetable slaw and potato salad, and peach pie bar with housemade vanilla ice cream.
A fifth of all proceeds will be donated to the Countryside Conservancy.
