Cleveland Ben and Jerry’s are serving up ice cream gratuito today in recognition of Free Ice Cream Day, the blessed unofficial holiday.

Nab a four ounce cone with flavors such as Hazed & Confused, Chocolate Nougat Crunch, White Russian,
 
Cotton Candy,
 Lemonade Stand, or 
Vanilla Chocolate Chunk at either of Cleveland’s two Ben and Jerry’s locations: at 20650 North Park Boulevard in University Heights or at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

Free service runs today from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. today— we’ll see ya in the line.

  1. The lines for free ice cream today will certainly trump any by those wishing to cast a ballot in a few weeks.

  2. I would love to wait in line for a half hour to get my free $4 ice cream cone. Except that when you count how long you have to wait and what it took to get there, that ice cream cone actually cost you like $30.
