A touring program that features animated shorts from around the world, the 19th Animation Show of Shows will feature 16 critically acclaimed flicks from a slew of countries.

This year’s program includes the stop-motion musical The Burden as well as the 1964 classic The Hangman, a movie that Animation Show of Shows organizers have recently restored.

The program begins at 8:35 tonight at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. Tickets are $10, or $7 for Cinematheque members and students.
