The film centers on the emergence of Berkeley’s 924 Gilman Street music collective.
Narrated by Iggy Pop and executive produced by the members of Green Day, the movie promises to provide “the definitive telling of this vibrant story, drawing from a wide variety of voices and viewpoints and featuring the music of many of the most famous and infamous punk bands ever.”
It screens at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at the Capitol Theatre. Tickets are $9.75 for adults.
