The stars are shooting at University Heights City Hall today, Cleveland.com reports.

Apparently Heigl and her co-star Tom Wilkinson shot a scene in Mayor Susan Infeld’s assistant’s office.

Shooting starts today for the latest Hollywood flick being filmed in Cleveland, Jenny’s Wedding, starring Katherine Heigl and Tom Wilkinson.

The good news is that no road closures are slated during the three to four week shoot.

The bad news is that the Greater Cleveland Film Commission has declined to specify where the stars will be shooting.

Many Clevelanders have already gotten a glimpse of Heigl, however. Over the weekend, one of our readers spotted her shopping at Nordstrom at Beachwood mall, and another said Heigl dined at Hodge’s in downtown Cleveland.

Folks are saying Heigl is warm and friendly with fans.

  1. Why not? It would only cost you $20 to close down a major freeway! At prices that low, close it down just for fun and don’t even shoot any scenes on the closed-off road!
