[image-1]Local rapper David “Vigatron” Norris regularly hosts hip-hop-related events around town. Now, he’s turned his attention to film. He and “some colleagues” have organized a short film festival that will mostly cater to music videos.

Dubbed Levels Film Fest, the event takes place on Nov. 17 at Tower City Cinemas.

“We are accepting any style of video, at a 10-minute maximum, whether it’s a skit, drama, visual art or the aforementioned music video format,” says Norris in an email he sent our way. “This is an opportunity for directors, artists, actors, etc, to have their short shown on the big screen at Tower City Cinemas.”

There will be a networking event afterwards at Take 5 Jazz Lounge, where the video creators will speak with potential clients and talk about their works.

Submissions, ticket sales, contact and sponsors can all be done through the website.
