The tour’s initial schedule didn’t include a Cleveland show, but the band has just announced a new set of dates that includes a stop at House of Blues on Aug. 27.
Midnight Oil’s mailing list members can purchase tickets beginning at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday.

The origin of the band dates back to 1972. And though there are significant breaks in the touring/recording timeline – Peter Garrett had exited in 2002 to refocus on his political career in Australia – what kept the spark alive that led to this world tour was several shows to assist a number of charitable causes. Essential Oils, indeed.
This is a joke. Garrett went into politics and showed that both he and his songs are nothing but a fraud. He did nothing but take money from special interests and advocated for destroying the environment. The exact opposite of what he’d been singing about. But now he needs the money and dumb Midnight Oil fans either don’t know any better or just don’t care. As Trump would say, “SAD.”
