You’d be hard-pressed to find a metal band heavier than Cavalera Conspiracy, the group that features singer Max Cavalera and his brother, drummer Igor Cavalera. Inspired by grindcore, the band’s new album, Pandemonium, features noisy guitars and rumbling vocals that are so menacing, they make it sound like Max has transformed into a pissed-off grizzly bear. All the while, he drops references to Babylon and Japanese kamikaze pilots. We spoke with Cavalera (and his thick beard) from the tour bus before tonight’s show at the Agora
