Still touring in support of his terrific 2014 self-titled debut, country singer Eric Paslay rolled into town last night to play House of Blues as American Diabetes Month begins.

Paslay has penned hits for Rascal Flatts and Jake Owen; “Friday Night,” the lead single from his debut, also hit the top of the charts.

A type 1 diabetic, Paslay tries to inspired and educate others living with the chronic disease. We spoke to him backstage before last night’s performance.
