The Beachland Ballroom and Tavern has just launched the Super Duper Saturday Show, a live weekly podcast that’ll take place in front of an audience on the Beachland Tavern stage on Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m. The event, which kicked off last week, will feature different hosts as well as an array of different topics, including “music, current events and news in the local community.” It will also include “comedic storytelling” and “interactive games.”

A musical intermission featuring live bands, DJs and/or specialized playlists will occur after the first half of the show. Guest podcasters will be on hand for the second part of the show. Food and cocktails will be available for purchase. The podcasts will be archived on the Beachland website following the live recording. Local comedian and podcaster Kris Wernowsky hosts this Saturday’s podcast, a storytelling panel on the topic of hellish job experiences. Panelists include Zachariah Durr, Tim Cornett, Mike Ivy, Todd Gauman and Erin Larson.
