The Cowslingers are back in the saddle. Now splintered into the Whiskey Daredevils and Jack Fords, the ‘Slingers will reunite to play a benefit show for Daredevils guitarist Bobby Lanphier, who was seriously injured in an auto accident earlier this month. And if the one-time return of the country-fried Cleveland favorites isn’t enough, they’ll be joined by the rest of the city’s twang-rock royalty, including Uncle Scratch’s Gospel Revival, Lords of the Highway, and Hayshaker Jones.
