With its latest album, 22, A Million, the indie rock act Bon Iver delivers a disc that’s “part love letter, part final resting place of two decades of searching for self-understanding like a religion.”

A collection of “sacred moments, love’s torment and salvation, contexts of intense memories, signs that you can pin meaning onto or disregard as coincidence,” the album arguably features the group at its best.

The band will bring its tour in support of the album to the State Theatre on Friday, March 29.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.
