Concert Photos: Indigo Girls Dazzle at Sold-Out Temple Live

Stalwarts The Indigo Girls played to a packed house last night at the Temple Live venue in Cleveland. Providing plenty of musical relief from the scorching heat, the duo went through their discography in a brisk 90-minute show consisting of 20+ tunes.

The Atlanta-based duo, Emily Saliers and Amy Ray, released their first album in 1987 and have been going strong ever since.

Opener Katie Pruitt, a young Nashville native, was perhaps the highlight of the evening. Her raw, falsetto also had a nuanced quality to it, accompanying her angsty Catholic upbringing apparent in her lyrics. Keep an eye on her, she’ll be going places.
