The Church’s Steve Kilbey and All India Radio’s Martin Kennedy have been collaborating since 2009 and this marks the third release they’ve issued. It’s an appropriately melancholy and atmospheric album that sounds like it could be the soundtrack to a David Lynch film. Album opener, “I Wouldn’t Know,” is appropriately dreamy and “Lorelei” has a good shoe-gazer vibe to it. The perfect listen for a rainy day.

This HBO drama might suffer from the fact that it’s written like a very verbose play, but Jeff Daniels is terrific as Will McAvoy, a belligerent but popular TV critic who constantly struggles with the conflict between art and commerce.
