Summer wouldn’t be summer without a visit from Dave Matthews Band. The veteran jam band has just announced the dates of his summer tour and it’s no surprise that Matthews and crew will stop at Blossom Music Center. At each stop, the band will perform what it’s calling “A Very Special Evening with Dave Matthews Band.” During the two-set shows, Matthews and guitarist Tim Reynolds will perform short segments as an acoustic duo. Online presale for the group’s Warehouse Fan Association begins on Thursday and tickets for the general public go on sale on Friday, Feb. 7. The tour kicks off on May 16 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Woodlands, TX and comes to Blossom on June 27.

Jeff has been covering the Cleveland music scene for more than 25 years now. On a regular basis, he tries to talk to whatever big acts are coming through town. And if you're in a local band that he needs to hear, email him at jniesel@clevescene.com.

  1. It just isn’t summer if Mike Love’s Beach Boys Band does not limp into the area to embarrass the legacy of Brian Wilson.
