Death Cab for Cutie has announced that it’ll team up with Chvrches for a summer tour that finds two of indie rock’s best acts sharing headlining status.

The tour launches on June 7 at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica. The indie pop band Pure Bathing Culture is also on the bill.

The tour supports the band’s most recent album, last year’s KINTSUGI, which garnered a Grammy nomination, making it the band’s eighth overall nod. Death Cab for Cutie currently features the core membership of singer-guitarist Ben Gibbard, bassist Nick Harmer and drummer Jason McGerr. New touring members Dave Depper (Menomena, Fruit Bats, Corin Tucker, Ray Lamontagne) and Zac Rae (My Brightest Diamond, Fiona Apple, Lana Del Rey, Gnarls Barkley) will join the group for the tour.

A special fan club pre-sale starts tomorrow at 11 .m. For complete details and ticket availability, visit deathcabforcutie.com/tour.
