The Rock Hall continues to be in correction mode, and the 2019 class generally consists of acts who’ve been eligible for several years. Released today, the list of inductees includes the Cure (finally!), Def Leppard, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music and the Zombies.

The 34th annual Induction Ceremony will take place on Friday, March 29, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and the Rock Hall will unveil its Inductee exhibit in 2019 as well. Ticket on-sale dates for the ceremony will be announced in January, and it will again have its television premiere on HBO and a radio broadcast on SiriusXM.

A limited number of pre-sale tickets to the ceremony will be available for Rock Hall members in advance of the public sale date. To be eligible for the member pre-sale opportunity, you must be an active member by the end of the year.

Jeff has been covering the Cleveland music scene for more than 25 years now. On a regular basis, he tries to talk to whatever big acts are coming through town. And if you're in a local band that he needs to hear, email him at jniesel@clevescene.com.

  1. Interesting bunch. You know who shouldn’t be in the rock hall? that current president of the place, Harris. What a stiff. Go back to money grubbing for cooperstown rainman. Bean count your ten dollar beers little moneyball boy, the stat you are most proud of. Has there ever been a less charismatic MC then this soulless shit? christ, bring back Terry Stewart. somebody that actually cared and knew about music and could make an evening feel exciting.

  2. Graham Bond and Alexis Korner are forgotten names…..not even worthy of a dusty footnote dumped into a Rock Hall basement box.

  3. I am a paying member of the Hall of Fame. I find it pathetic that they sent me an email on Giving Tuesday, a day where people and corporations are encouraged to donate to worthy causes, asking me to give to them so they could buy a Prince vest for 15K. Seriously? Begging for money on that day to buy an artifact? Disgusting. Maybe you could have asked for donations to help the less fortunate. It seems obvious. Your top Cleveland dog and the NYC fat cats make a shit load of money off the museum. You greedy bastards should have bought the vest.

  4. I totally agree about that new guy from the rock hall. Very boring host. Yes, Stewart was good at it. Whatever happened to him?

  5. I agree. Why dont they hire a host for the induction ceremony? Terry Stuart was great at it but the guy now looks like and is about as cool as Paul Ryan
