Last year, local rockers Tropidelic successfully launched their two-day Freakstomp Music Festival. The festival, which took place in Medina, featured acts such as Vibe & Direct, Bumpin’ Uglies, Sun-Dried Vibes, Pasadena, Elementree Livity Project, Drunken Sunday and Derlee. Tropidelic headlined both nights of music.

The band recently announced the Freakstomp Music Festival will return this summer. The festival, which takes place from Aug. 9 to 12 in Medina, will feature two nights of music. Tickets for the entire weekend include camping and parking; they cost $70.

Acts scheduled to perform include Afroman, Bumpin’ Uglies, Broccoli Samurai, Sun-Dried Vibes, Roots of a Rebellion, Little Stranger, the Quasi Kings, Ghost Gardens, Derlei and Stationary Pebbles. Tropidelic will headline both nights.

Organizers encourage festival goers to "unleash their inner freak," and there will be fire performers, dunking booths and other carnival-inspired attractions.
