A trifecta of bands, comprised of nu metal and alternative influences, played to a very enthusiastic Rocket Arena crowd last night.
Canadian outfit Three Days Grace headlined the gig, showing off co-lead vocalists Adam Gontier (who had left the band a dozen years ago, rejoining in 2024), and Matt Walst, his mohawk-endowed replacement, sharing vocal duties in a spirited set.
Michigan-founded I Prevail took the center spot in the lineup, playing a forty-five minute set of metalcore hits.
Openers The Funeral Portrait warmed up the night with a rousing, high-kick performance by frontman Lee Jennings in his green-tinted coif. Offering a Broadway-like presence, the band members strutted around the stage and catwalk with some precision moves.
