Six years ago, local producer Romero Mosley he had just released his terrific debut, Lucid Dreams, a mixtape of sorts that features vocal contributions from some of the city’s best R&B singers and rappers.

Now based in L.A., Mosley is putting the finishing touches on his new album, Forever Is For Dreamers. The album is a compilation project consisting of his production and features a myriad of artists and musicians from L.A., Chicago, New Orleans and Cleveland.

“It’s the same formula as you’ve come to know from me… Heartfelt, live instrumentation based, sample infused, SOUL music with a thesis of love, life, & holding on while letting go,” writes Mosley in an email announcing its imminent release.

The new single, “Shut Up & Groove,” comes out today. It features singer-songwriter and fellow Clevelander Durand Bernarr, a background vocalist for Erykah Badu and has collaborated with Anderson Paak, Ari Lennox and many more.

“It’s a feel-good anthem with a message to complain less, appreciate life and just trust the process,” says Mosley.

The album is slated for a July release, and Mosley plans to have a listening session in Cleveland.
