Wednesday will be the second Wednesday in years that Lakewood won’t host Heavy Metal Karaoke with the Billy Morris Band at the Hi-Fi, which closed last week.
In cities like Chicago, people line up around the block for live-band karaoke jams. In Cleveland, not so much.
Were you one of the regulars at Heavy Metal Karaoke? Or did go to the club for an occasional punk show or Christian-rock matinee? Did you brave a snow storm to see Victory Flag, or did you catch L.A. Guns there?

Omg… Hilar La Guns. Defiantely saw them there. How about Billy’s Dumpster plate? Or $2 drafts in your own HI-FI Mug? One of my favorite memories is dancing on the bar and watching Geo and Joey do 3 Mad Dogs in a row (If you don’t know what that is ask someone). Also, never forget Geo’s fire tricks. The Hi-Fi was ALWAYS a good time. There is so much to say… But I dont think it is legal to say on here. Good Times.
