West Sixth’s newest dance party is Grind, a monthly hustle session with some of the best names in electronic dance music, drawn from Cleveland and the rest of the world. Starring in the first throwdown is Kenneth Thomas (pictured), Paul Oakenfold’s protégé. Cleveland’s Dan Stark opens the show. Expect a bright, loud night, filled with melodic trance and progressive electro, like Thomas’ resounding remix of David Guetta’s “The World Is Mine.” Whether your idea of ideal club music is hooky rave-era techno, Depeche Mode, or something new you’ve never heard, get ready for the dance floor.
