The veteran indie rock act Yo La Tengo picked up a bit traction from the recently released Stuff Like That There, a mix of cover songs, “covers” of Yo La Tengo songs and brand new originals. The group has just announced a string of headlining tour dates for 2016.

For its recent fall tour, the band performed in a stripped-down set-up with former member Dave Schramm on electric guitar as it revisited the original concept of Fakebook on the album’s 25th anniversary. For the majority of the 2016 dates, they’ll return to their trio formation (Ira Kaplan, Georgia Hubley and James McNew). They play the Beachland Ballroom on Jan. 28; tickets go on sale tomorrow.
