“We all agreed this was the perfect beer to join the band on their upcoming U.S. tour,” says Chris Rockwood, head brewer at Magic Hat, in a press release. “It’s genuine, with body and flavor. Not another red ale or stout.”
Magic Hat’s in-house label artists and Cambridge, MA-based tattoo artist Dave Norton of Pino Brothers Ink, an accomplished designer and close friend of the band, created the artwork.
Barroom Hero will be available for a limited time through the summer in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans and on draught. Jacobs Pavilion will have it on hand when the Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly kick off their summer tour at the venue on Friday and then the beer will continue to be available in Cleveland throughout the summer.
