Jenn Wertz was a disproportionately large part of Rusted Root’s tribal soul, contributing vocals, harmonica, and percussion. Now a solo singer-songwriter, she plays unplugged sets with a little less groove and a little more her. But she still jams — all those years in Root, she had an inner Allman Brothers fan waiting to get out.
