Mitch Capka of “Kick Out The Jams” will be spinning records one last time. The former college radio DJ brings his old radio show to My Mind’s Eye Records in Lakewood as part of Record Store Day, which takes place on Saturday. He hasn’t been on the radio since 2010, but he’ll spin at the store from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. He says it might be the last time he ever DJs.

“Every song I play will be off vinyl and the playlist will consist entirely of songs from the 1960’s, ’70’s, ’80’s, & ’90’s that I played on my decades-long radio show,” he says in a press release. “It’ll be five hours of total kick-assness.” He adds that each record he plays will also be for sale. The store will also have vegan doughnuts for sale, courtesy of Old Man Husher, and there will be a sale on most CDs and specials on vinyl.
