With so many people coming to Cleveland from out of town to visit relatives, the holidays are always a great time for old Cleveland bands to reunite. That’s the premise for Tuesday’s show at Mahall’s in Lakewood. Three punks bands that haven’t played together in years will get together for a concert dubbed Home for the Holidays: A Punk Rock Reunion. The bill includes the Atomix, the Vermin and A.A.K., all of which are reuniting for the event. The veteran punk act Cypher closes the show. “We are expecting a nice turnout and are hoping to make this a Christmas tradition in Cleveland,” says organizer Neil Turk who currently plays in the Chicago-based punk act Top Shelf Lickers and is a member of the Atomix. Tickets to the show are $5 and the concert begins at 8 p.m.
