Eighteen-year old local singer-songwriter Julia Thompson issued her debut single, “Hits,” earlier this year and instantly found a following.

Her second single, “Spark,” also created a buzz online and landed on playlists such as Spotify Fresh Finds, New Pop Revolution and Fresh Finds Poptronix.

Now, Thompson has returned with “Nights,” a snappy pop tune that sounds a bit like celebrated singer-songwriters such as Lorde or Alessia Cara.

The tune about overcoming self-doubt and “deserving to be treasured” came out today and is available on all digital platforms.
