Local rockers Wrecking Crew Red Panda Bears formed some two years ago and issued an EP last summer.

Now, the band has just issued a new single, the power ballad “Young Medusa.”
The group filmed the accompanying music video in Lorain in the woods close to Lorain Port Authority.

“We found a really nice path and thought it would be a cool idea to have Young Medusa wandering this path,” says band leader Mando Guitarrista. “The video was shot by Bret Vance owner of HighArt LLC in Cleveland; he shot our last video for ‘I Cannot Lose.’ The concept of the video is simple — Young Medusa is roaming this path and can’t seem to get away from her self.”

The model portraying Young Medusa is Clevelander Belle Jeannette Alvarez-Jimenez. She’s done videos and make-up work on the East and West Coasts.

The band just submitted its music to South by Southwest 2018 and is trying to showcase there.
