MGK has had a banner year. “Bad Things,” his duet with Camila Cabello, sold 6 million units worldwide and peaked at No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot 100, while “At My Best,” a track with Hailee Steinfeld, received over 470 million streams globally. Bloom has been certified gold too.
In addition, MGK will star in the upcoming Sandra Bullock flick Bird Box and the Rupert Wyatt-directed sci-fi film Captive State. He also teamed up with X Ambassadors and Bebe Rexha for “Home,” a tune from the accompanying soundtrack to Will Smith’s new Netflix action-thriller Bright.

Another drug head loser we’ve thrown our attention on. He doesn’t do much for the city except mention it and present a poor example of our citizens. In his latest lame, contrived, unoriginal video he is “trapping” (*selling drugs) and smashing historic hotels in Paris. His tattoos are worse than beibers. Cleveland has the worst celebrities.
Infantile lyrics. Horrible style. Horrendous tattoos.
Has this guy been trappin’ in cleveland? Other articles in this same magazine are discussing the negative impact hard drugs have had on our communities. We cannot promote this culture in our city.
Sorry, but MGK has bad language, but his songs have good messages. And at least he did something, better then sitting here criticizing someone who’s better then themselves. He grew up with these awful feelings, and he coped with it through music. So, hate on him, but at least he actually did something.
